The Japanese company KMEW manufactures the following series of facade panels:
- «Filltect». Designed for low- and mid-rise buildings, these KMEW fiber cement panels are 16 mm thick, feature a flawless texture visible even at close range, and use hidden (invisible) fixing systems. They also provide long-lasting UV protection against color fading for up to 30 years.
- «Ceradir V». Developed specifically for high-rise buildings. Unlike standard panels, they measure 3,000 mm in length (not 3,030 mm) and are 14 mm thick. Another unique advantage is the absence of sealant for horizontal joints, making installation faster and more cost-effective—ideal for cladding large surfaces.
KMEW fiber cement facade panels vary in both appearance and coating type. They realistically replicate brickwork, natural stone, wood, or decorative plaster, making them suitable for virtually any architectural style.
Among the most in-demand surface finishes are:
- Photoceramic Coating. Protects the pigments within the panels from fading. The manufacturer provides a 50-year warranty on both the material and its color retention — a unique offer in this market. Photocatalysts also help keep facades clean by breaking down dirt, making them ideal for ventilated facades in industrial areas.
- Hydrophilic Ceramic Coating. Also resistant to UV rays and other environmental factors, but with an added self-cleaning facade effect. The paint layer does not deteriorate or fade, and dirt is easily washed away by rain or water without cleaning agents.
